That is an expensive backup option. Most people have ready access to cellular as a backup, but installing satellite as a backup would be costly.
You don't want to use satellite as a primary connection unless you are in the middle of nowhere and can't get 3G or 4G.
And I would disagree on 'much better than cellular'. 4G cellular is faster than many people's home internet and has a respectable latency. But the convenience of 3G or 4G is that you already have it, just use your phone to broadcast a wi-fi signal to your desktop, buy a $10 USB dongle if needed to receive the wi-fi signal, and now you have a backup internet plan.

Need help? 1) Stop changing things. No new indicators, charts, or methods. Be consistent with what is in front of you first. 2) Start a journal and post to it daily with the trades you made to show your strengths and weaknesses. 3) Set goals for yourself to reach daily. Make them about how you trade, not how much money you make. 4) Accept responsibility for your actions. Stop looking elsewhere to explain away poor performance. 5) Where to start as a trader? Thanks, Mike.... I'm afraid this discussion is for my primary connection at the house... Man, I mean I live
WAY out of Nashville, in the sticks. We bought a piece of land and had to run water and power out to it.
No small distance. Every time I call the cable guys to see when they will be out in my area, they just laugh!!
My backup plan is the trading desk on speed dial!!
So good .... it appears the Virtual server gag is just the ticket. I won't pursue the satellite bit.
