Attachment shows as broken link

I have an issue with attaching a file to a post. The attachment is uploaded and i can retrieve it using this url:

however in this post:

Today i was waiting impatiently all day for some good trades - except one break-even trade in the beginning of the us-session.

Later I got 3 good trades, so 4 trades for the day, 3 winners and 1 looser (b/e really).

My wife traded gold and 6b's …

I have included the following : [ ATTACH ]56521[ /ATTACH ]
(without the spaces ofcourse)

but it shows up as a broken link in the post, and nothing happens when i try to click it in the post (when previewing the post after editing it it works).

By broken link , i mean its rendered like this:

Do anyone have an idea to what the issue is ?

I will work with the developer on a fix.

In meantime, just click 'embed' next to the image when uploading it, instead of using the attach keyword.

I noticed in the change log about the embed option, however mine does not seem to have this option in that other thread.

If i click attachments in this post, it actually does have the embed button.

PDF's are not embeddable. Only screenshots.

Upload a jpg, png, gif and it will show the embed option.

For PDF, no action needed. Just upload it, and submit the post. It will show as an attachment.

Was the broken link (post 1) after trying to use ATTACH on a PDF? If so, that would explain the problem, as that is not going to work.

Yes, it was..

But it worked in all other posts until today ?

I will work with the dev. PDF's are not embeddable, only attachable. Don't use ATTACH on PDF's.
