Anyone using Acer Iconia Tab W500 10.1" Tablet?

I personally waiting for a Win 8 tablet. The new interface look pretty damn cool.

Too bad they preview it so early and chance is high that by the time MS releases Win8, these features will be available at iOS and Android.

I current own iPad 2 and Touchpad running on CM7.

Yeah, I've seen win 8 demos on YT, pretty nice. Actually some of them are on W500 - people are downloading win 8 dev previews and installing them (https://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/apps/br229516).

What's win 8 release date?

If you can afford it the best Windows tablet currently available (due late Oct) is the Samsung Series 7 Slate.

Thanks for the link. Very nice, but too big for my taste - waaay too big for something that is supposed to be a tablet. Not to mention the price. I've held W500 in my hand and played with it in stores - it's powerful and with screen big enough to do almost any work (1280 x 800) + HMDI output, while small enough for carrying around (7.5 x 10.8 x 0.6 inches). Perfect sofa machine, so to speak.

P.S. W500 was released around Nov 2010, so I'm hoping that the next edition of this tablet will come this Nov too. Anyone knows anything?
