Worked 24 hours ago.
About 12 hours ago stopped with your documented "fail to connect"
Relogged in checked PW, etc.
Closed all apps, rebooted from power down.
Nothing resolved issue.
However....access from Safari was fine.
My iPad is a 3rd gen "new iPad". IOS 5.1.

1) Stop changing things. No new indicators, charts, or methods. Be consistent with what is in front of you first.
2) Start a journal and post to it daily with the trades you made to show your strengths and weaknesses.
3) Set goals for yourself to reach daily. Make them about how you trade, not how much money you make.
4) Accept responsibility for your actions. Stop looking elsewhere to explain away poor performance.
5) Where to start as a trader? Watch this webinar and read this thread for hundreds of questions and answers.

OK, so it seems the change I made solved the problem.

Only thing is, it was kind of an expensive change (in terms of performance expense). I had to disable a query optimizer which saves the forum about 8 million queries a day.

What I want to do next is try turning back on a portion of the query optimizer, because I think I have an idea as to what portion caused the Tapatalk problem, and I will leave that part disabled.

So in about 2 minutes, I am going to turn part of this back on. I'd like for those that confirmed Tapatalk was working the last few hours to go and test again in a minute, and let me know if it still works or if I have broken it.

Tapatalk has been reconnecting fine for the last hour or so.. Tried stopping app and restarting.
Reconnected and logged in several times with no failures so far..
Looks much better.
Thanks for chasing the fault down as Tapatalk is the best way to read the trading forum I have found.

still working


I logged back in on my mobile and I connected to futures.io (formerly BMT) first time. The fix seems to be working fine at this stage. I have since logged in a few times and I have always logged in on the first attempt. Happy again
