I use Multicharts with an MB Trading account and plan to trade stocks soon. Is there a way to view financial data within MC such as earnings, balance sheet, etc. (Or even just an external link to that data)? Or will I have to view the finance info on a site such as Yahoo Finance and use Multicharts strictly for charting? If so, no problem but was hoping to streamline the process as much as possible.
Can you help answer these questions from other members on NexusFi?
There are EasyLanguage keywords for a few things. Open up the PowerLanguage editor, then go to Dictionary - Quote Fields, to see a list. You would then need these to be in an indicator and you could plot them.
But as far as I know, earnings, balance sheet link, etc are not supported. I believe IQFeed and eSignal feeds provide that info. Not sure about MBT. But at first glance, it seems MultiCharts does not support it. You should ask MC directly, and let us know what you find out.
And it seems that TradeStation does have reserved words for EPS, so MultiCharts should really support that... but it seems undocumented, not a good sign.
