Saw this on CNBC this morning, couldn't believe she's already broke her screen twice! There seems to be a low supply of cases but still, the screens shouldn't be so fragile. Wouldn't consider buying one until Otterbox cases are available.
I prefer the iOS ecosystem. I have an iPhone5 and it works fine, not going to upgrade anytime soon. In our family we have 7 iPhones, 2 iPads, a MacBook Pro and an Apple TV, so they work and share together well. Also, I've broken my iPhone 4 screen twice as well as an iPad 2 screen, totaling over $350 in screen replacements. A $20 case is a good investment.
It seems that Carl Icahn has asked Apple to buyback shares faster. Not too sure if that will help them or not though. If they buy it back, share price might go up but their cash supply would dwindle and that's the part I'm not sure about.
All Icahn is doing is pumping AAPL so he can dump it when he is ready. That is what activist investors do. Buy, pump, and then dump and move on to the next victim.
