Bank of America BAC , and the large amount

of Volume that is traded on it, per day.
I have been keeping track of the most highly traded stocks ( Volume wise ) on a per day to day basis, and Bank of America BAC , seems to always be at the forefront.
Is there a reason for the large amount of Volume that gets traded on it, day after day?
