Thanks for sharing your method and chart Underexposed !

I am a big fan of the BB Width indicator. I like to see the BB Width cross from below 15 to above 20 as a signal of a range expansion / directional / vertical price move. The indicator setup you are using works equally well intra-day on 120 minute, 60 minute and 30 minute time frames.

Another specialized 'squeeze" type is called a TTMS squeeze, I wonder if you have ever looked into it ? TOS has a lot of good quality squeeze indicators, alerts, and scans you might find useful.

Here is an example of the TTMS squeeze indicator. The red dot's indicate the squeeze is in effect, then the colored histogram shows the directional price move out of the squeeze condition with associated bollinger band expansion...

No position in these, as its obviously not the best market environment for shorts. However, if the market decides to correct eventually, nice to have something in mind:

ULTA, prove to me you can get back over $100. stop on close convincingly above. Perhaps a dumb idea considering how often my wife goes there

TSCO, top of down channel, stop over 40 wk ma

P-Pandora, H&S top, 40 wk ma stop

N-Netsuite, 40wk ma stop

LVS, H&S top confirmed, short bounces into 10wk ma, with stop on weekly close conviningly above

KKD 40 wk stop

I swing trade stocks, mostly during earnings season, and etfs. It doesn't seem to be a popular topic around here though.

My average hold time is 5-10 days.

You can help change that by posting some charts and trades/commentary in the Stocks/ETF section of the forum. One thread per ticker is the format.
