The article fails to mention that TSLA dropped massively when the oil price was still high.

I agree. But I believe the thinking is cheaper oil will be bad for electric cars. Why buy an electric when gas is so cheap? Not that I agree with that logic, but it is out there.

Alone the Same Lines as "why buy a car that consumes less when gas is cheap"
Just as irrational but again, it's out there..

I've actually seen people on the internet suggest that Ford is in trouble now, because they bet big on EcoBoost engines.
