I got info that indeed this is a very specific problem with the TT server at Velocity.

Other brokers having a TT server for Sierracharts are not affected. It seems to be a confirmed velocity problem.

While I am no platform, data feed or broker guru, I still am not sure if the issue (frozen last price) has been fixed. I have read through this thread and the related thread on the SC support site (at least the one referred to in this thread) and still don't know if the issue continues to exists (where ever or who ever is responsible). It is also quit possible that I missed it, misread or misunderstood some of the posts that included this information. I guess that I am looking for the "end result" - problem solved or problem still exists.

Could someone chime in with a brief of the current situation?

@BigMike: are you still using SC's DOM?

Thanks!

I'm using it daily and have not seen the issue occur again. I am on build 683.

Don't want to waste your time, but I must ask: Are you still using the TT feed from Velocity or some other feed and/or broker?

Thanks again!

I'm using Velocity, DTN IQfeed, Sierra Charts, and MultiCharts. I use Velocity for executions and for TT powers my SC DOM. I use MultiCharts for charting, and IQfeed powers that.

Ive always liked the look of MultiCharts. IQ feeds seems so pricey . I finaly got off the esignal wagon. I use both SC TT and NTZF with Mirus for emergency stuff ....

Are you just trading futures? I trade stocks/etfs as well. I use QT with TD. Maybe I should start consolidating heh.

Seems like you have a nice setup. Does VF not provide you adequate feed?

"Yeah, well, you know, that's your opinion, man..."
