If I am reading that correctly, that is terrible.

They made a change and kept the same release number.

Mike

Usually they release a new one, but maybe if is a minor issue happened to one customer they act soon to fix it without waiting for a new release.

Take your Pips, go out and Live.
Luke.

You are getting access to their current build. I find this this awesome, not terrible! I have worked with them to fix several early bugs in the Rithmic feed support, and they were able to give me new builds on the fly without chewing up major build numbers. There is another internal build number/date, as the software knows if the pre-release available is new or the same one that is already loaded.

Generally, most people should be loading a stable build, unless they are using a feature that is currently being worked on (i.e. Rithmic feed support).

Error is gone now. I changed nothing, but it is a new date now on my machine (17th -> 18th) so maybe that was it somehow.

Not sure what the issue is, but sounds like there is an issue between the feed timestamp and the computer timestamp or the translated feed timestamp (you can store data in your local timezone format). I suspect that there was an hour where the dates did not match? If so, it should come back tonight. Just a WAG, and I would report it, as it may just be a config issue. BTW, I have never seen this issue with IQ on SC.

I use OEC feed somehow 671 turn itself off so I reinstall 659. I am not worry about losing chart templates as they are auto backup for each session.

Just a follow-up.

I reported the problem in post #1 to SC support today at 5 minutes 'till midnight. One hour later, they had released a new build which solved the problem.

They deserve your respect and support as a client for providing that type and level of service.

Mike

Need help?
1) Stop changing things. No new indicators, charts, or methods. Be consistent with what is in front of you first.
2) Start a journal and post to it daily with the trades you made to show your strengths and weaknesses.
3) Set goals for yourself to reach daily. Make them about how you trade, not how much money you make.
4) Accept responsibility for your actions. Stop looking elsewhere to explain away poor performance.
5) Where to start as a trader? Watch this webinar and read this thread for hundreds of questions and answers.

Thats why I said their model is awesome! I have been extremely impressed with them. Now to be fair, they will also tell you to go blow smoke if they don't want to do something. They are extremely busy, so they do not look at every minor enhancement requested, but they have fixed all of the issues I have brought up.

That is correct. I had a few answers just with : NO, this is not possible. period.

That's better than ninjatraders standard answer: We have forwarded this to the development team. ... .... echo echo echo..

Didn't know there was a 674. I guess they don't have a notification system.

Mike

it is a prerelease, they had a notification popup before but others complained because they have no intention of installing a beta and mess up their real chart so that is why you dont get notification no more.
