Okay, I have a question about the Time and Sales in Sierra Chart. In the time and sales window there is a column that says "Type", then below that it either says "bid trade" or "ask trade". When it says bid trade, for example, does that mean a market order was executed at the bid? Or does it mean something different?
I did a search and found nothing.
Thank you,

Yes, in the example you asked it means a trade was executed at the bid or below the bid, You can even set different colours when it's below the bid or above the ask because sometimes means people trying to ge out quickly from their positions, i.e. stop losses being triggered or take profits aggressively

Bid orders are what buyers willing to pay for and Ask orders are what sellers are willing to accept. So, if it says bid trade under the “type” column: It means that an order was executed at the Bid or below, vice versa for Ask. It could mean market order or limit order. May provide insight into which side was more aggressive.
