Hello all,

I recently made the jump to Sierra Chart and i’m wondering if anyone has a recommendation for a MA as an alternative to the Mcginley Dynamic.

https://www.investopedia.com/terms/m/mcginley-dynamic.as

Someone recently asked for them to add it and this was their reply: https://www.sierrachart.com/SupportBoard.php?ThreadID=32111

So far i’ve played area with the MESA and Arnaud Legoux but frankly i’m probably not math/technically inclined enough to know how to adjust them to work correctly.

I run 233, 699, 2097, 6291, and 18873 tick charts to compliment time charts from the 1m, 5m, 12m, 30m, 1h, 3h, and 6h in NQ.

I currently have the AMA MA’s in both IIO and Adaptive RSI on the chart currently.

Any help would be appreciated.

Your investopedia link is broken and I am not familiar with that indicator. They are thousands of contributed indicators for Sierra but they are are a little obscure. I’ll look them up when I get back to my pc.

Welcome to Sierra attitude. That is typical. They put up a rather grumpy old man posture but persist and be upbeat. Don’t scold them, they can be petty.

I'm not sure if you're still looking for the McGinley Dynamic but here is a link to the NT Ecosystem for it. I have not downloaded and used it so I don't know how it would compare to what you are used to in Sierra Charts.Hope this helps
