I have had no issues with CQG data for 8 years, until SC starts to promote their Denali data feed.

If you look at their posts at their forum, you would know SC hold hostile attitude to all outside data providers, especially to CQG.

Since SC have conflict of interest with outside data providers, then SC says "others have issues" this statement is worthless to believe, especially in beginning, I saw how they use false information to misunderstand traders that CQG only have 5 days tick data.

Their unethical commercial manipulation and slander really match their conspiracy theories in their forum.

That is possible, but what is the alternative to Sierrachart though. At this price, it looks like there is nothing else. I too have had no issues with CQG .

but I am partly doing it out of principle because I hate paying rude and arrogant jerks such as the SC owners.

It means that if you trade more than 13 months, then SC will expensive than MotiveWave.

And my US broker AMP Futures provides "Free Full features" Quantower, and Multicharts(C#, not Easy Languages version), so you can use them with zero cost.

Life is full of compromises, isn't it? They compensate their rudeness with a great product imho. They also give great support once you ignore some of the off the cuff remarks.

I disagree it is a great product. If you are trading in any Asian futures market, it is a terrible product, the worst on the market.

Recently upgraded to Package 10 as required by Sierra Chart and switched to their CME exchange data to get live Denali data feed. Now when I enter a trade it defaults to simulation mode. I am logging on to "CQG web api" first and the connection looks good. Then I log on to "SC Data - All Services" which gives me live charts OK.

With AMP I have switched to "Sierra Chart - Denali - CQG (No Data - Order Routing only)" data feed.
But checking on the Live Trading Credentials on AMP web site it says I am on "CQG (No Data - Order Routing Only)*

Anyone still using CQG have any idea what is wrong? Has AMP set me up incorrectly?
