New trader trying out the demo version of InfinityAT with Sierra Charts and have the following setup:
Mid-2015 MacBook Pro Retina
Bootcamp installed with Windows 10 Pro (with all updates)
Bitdefender 2019 total security (this has been removed in an effort to trouble-shoot the issue.
Windows Defender and Firewall have been disabled
When I downloaded the InfinityAT software there is no issue installing it and it says it is successful. However when clicking on the InfinityAT icon on the desktop to launch the program it hangs and will return an error about a minute later with:
"Connection to server could not be established. If this occurs between 4:35pm and 4:45pm CST this is our normal daily maintenance window the servers will be back online shortly. Otherwise please check your firewall or internet connection."
I have tried at all times of day, first added exceptions to the Bitdefender software, then removed it completely, then added exceptions to Windows firewall and disabled it as well. I cannot for the life of me get the application to launch.
Has anyone else had this issue? A rep from Infinity said Mac is not a recommended platform, but I've read of many success stories and would hate to buy a pc if I can avoid it.
