I have an Alert Condition that includes the following condition: H-L > 10 (where 10 = ticks)

The problem is that the tick size is different for each product. I want to apply my Alert Condition to multiply products (and Scan Multiple Products).

Right now, I have to create a new instance of the Alert Condition for each product in order to manually change the ticks.

EXAMPLES:

NQ H-L>2.50 where .25=1 tick
RTY H-L>1 where .1 = 1 tick

How do I write the Alert Condition so that it understands ticks instead of price?

I want H-L> "x" number of ticks, not price. That way I can apply the same Alert Condition to multiple products (or Scan Multiple Products.

Thanks.

I think I just found the answer in Sierra Chart Documentation under Alert Formula Examples:

33. Alert when Chart Bar is Within Specified Ticks of Touching Bollinger Bands: Enter the following Alert Condition Formula on a Bollinger Bands study: =OR(H >= SG1 - (4 * TICKSIZE), L <= SG3 + (4 * TICKSIZE)). In this particular case the specified number of ticks is 4 and can be modified as required.
