Amir, I just wanted to shout out a bit thank you for your hard work. I haven't checked it out yet, but hopefully I will next week!

thanks for building and sharing this with the FIO community.

This is one of my last work on this Study. In this I have increased the numbers of shades to 20. So each level can be differentiated by 20 Grey levels compared to the Maximum volume level on the DOM.

Very limited testing has been done on it. Please check it by comparing it to the DOM values.

This study is for my own use however, I am sharing it with others who can benefit from it. If it does not suit your needs you can always buy a commercial software, other studies or wait for the SC implementation to complete.

Please also make sure you undestand how this work and how the display is painted and updated as no support is or will ever be given.

Kind regards

Amir

Hi,
Bookmap is especially useful for historical liquidity. Defence key levels.

I thought I should pass on my current study.

In this I have added a field "Display Type", values are:

0: Highest volume would be Black, Lowest volume White. Therefore, the volumes in between are shaded with respect to the range. Number of shades are 20 per level.

1: In developement but thinking to be the same as above but number of shades set to 10.

2: The volumes are shades in comparison to the highest volume on DOM only.

I have not done much testing so please feel free to point to possible shortcomings.

You might have to remove and then reapply the indicator to your chart.

nodoji, The best way is to actually use it. The volume on each level is represented by up to 20 shades, therefore, a smaller volume change can be seen.

Regards

Amir

I like bookmap for CL

Wondering what your experiences have been? i struggle with thicker instruments like ES and ZN esp with bookmap

Wondering if u have a video in english on how u use bookmap or some screenshots for entries/exits esp in non ES instruments? thanks

I do not knpow what the problem is. It has worked fine on my system with a 1t chart.

I can only think of two options:

1- see if there is any other study in your chart that is causing this problem
2- contact SC support.

Sorry I could not be of anymore help.

Regards

Amir

Hi,

Thank you for stopping by my YT channel. I translated into English.

Indeed, for the moment, I trade primarily on the ES (Liquidity and presence of manipulations to notes as spoofing ... that captures beautiful movements). I go where there is the liquidity, regardless of the market.

Also trade the CL but it's a thin market, I also put videos soon.

For bookmap, we must be especially attentive to the large real-time liquidity levels, but also to the map (history of defended levels).

Forward exchange.

See the video with VP.

Another version.

Changes are:

1- Extended the current orderbook to at least 20 points into the future. The Bid/Ask lines have changed to DOT for these points. In order to see them you have to use <CTRL)-> to see the Fill space. Please set the option "Lock fill space".

2- Large volume study now works on the total volume traded during the period. But the colouring is based on the relative size of Bid and Ask volume during the period.

I have not done much testing so please feel free to point to possible shortcomings.

You might have to remove and then reapply the indicator to your chart.
