I'm currently using Windotrader for my Market Profile needs and would like to drop the software due to monthly costs. I completed Dalton's MP training and subscribed to Windotrader so I could follow right along and learn the software.
I see that SC has the MP capabilities and I'm wondering if anyone had used both SC's MP and Windotrader's as well?
I'm ready to demo SC's platform, but would like any info to the people using it already, if possible.

I'm using SC market profile and it's not as good as windotrader obviously. I haven't used windotrader but there are some features that SC doesn't offer. The features that I saw that dalton was using which arent available in SC is the possibilty to only show last overnight profile and coloring multiple distributions separately. Besides those features I'm happy with Sierra chart as a platform
I used WT lite during the recent intensive as well. Great MP platform but specifically built for MP only. No other real functionality with regards to a charting platform. Pricing is just dumb-ass crazy expensive especially when you add the data feed from BarChart - close to $250/mo. Started using SC for the TPO profile and Volume by Price studies (need Package 5). Data feeds and all probably $75/mo or less (depending on needs) plus you get equities, internals and historical data feeds as well. Ability to overlay Fibs/MA's in addition to trade directly from chart is a major advantage. SC functionality and value is really incredible. They will be adding additional features to the TPO and VbP studies such as those mentioned in the above thread in the near future ( like by the end of next week according to support staff). Will try to post some screen shots in the near future or you could email me and I will shoot back to you!!
As others have said... Sierra Charts is very good for Charting Profiles. I took the recent intensive, and while it doesn't have 100% of the functionality of Windotrader, it has 85%. The things it is missing are so small that I don't mind. For the cost, I dont know why you would use another platform.
I have my MP charts setup just like J Dalton does for his intensive... I also keep a renko chart with Cumulative Delta as my trading chart... Footprint charts are also nice ("numbers bars" studies)...
