Getting Cumulative Tick on Sierra

I read and followed the instructions here but the chart I get doesn't come out like it should. Im not sure what i do wrong seems easy.

I follow option one, open NYSE tick, add summation study, change input to HL AVG and what I get is just a straight line.

can someone explain how they get the cumulative tick chart up on sierra? thanks
