I used @josh method two, with resetting at the start of session (0930 - 1600) EST.

Thanks @CenFlo. So do you feel cumulative tick gives you an edge? If so, in what way? What do you regularly observe that gives a good trading opportunity?

Lastly, why does your cumulative tick histogram change in color? Is it a MA crossover?

Shadow Trader charges $100 for this in TOS.

Set to reset at the beginning of the day.

As the day unfolds, it gives a better view of what ticks are doing in the visual sense as the Cum tick builds the histogram. Since I watch TICK, it's nice to have a sum view of what's happening.

The colors are the based on slope and differentiate the Cumulative up / down with colors. If the Cum ticks are positive for the day, the pink color will show when the the Cum ticks declining, but still overall on the positive side for the session. Vice versa for the green color. Just an easier visual identification of what's happening in the dynamic sense.

As with anything in the market and indicators, it has to be viewed and interpreted in the context of the current market state.

I see the histogram is based off the SMA, that makes sense for better accuracy.

Thank you for sharing this.

There's a ridiculous amount of money to be made on the bells and whistles. Thanks for sharing this. I actually created something similar so good to know I can create a $100 product

Fully agree. At the end of the day its screentime... Thanks for sharing @CenFlo

PS - Off the topic and if I'm not allowed to ask this in this thread then I apologize upfront. What's the best way to mine the top-end info in this forum? How can I maximize my membership in here? Is their a thread I can read as I did a search on this topic but didn't quite found what I was looking for

Not sure exactly what you're asking here? There's tons of good info here and lots of knowledgeable members, many of which are willing to help.

I just thought the guys having been long time members know if ways to cut through the 'not-so-good' material and give relative new members guidance on how to extract the good information efficiently like

1. Who to follow
2. Which threads are recommended, etc, etc

Anyways - no worries, I'll continue to do my homework

Here's a screen shot of the tick - cum tick with the included studies. It's relatively simple for the histogram in the lower pane, it uses the study ID1 to accomplish this.
