I think it should be like this if I understand requirements correctly. The previous answers would miss green bars.

=ABS(O-C)>=TICKSIZE*5

I added study Color Bar Based On Alert Condition and left default settings. In Chart settings, Alerts Tab in Alert Condition I wrote syntax =ABS(O-C)>=TICKSIZE*5 for YM.
Thanks All for help.

YM e.g 5 ticks

=ABS(O-C>=5)

on settings tab did you set output not 1.0 but as user defined?

Which settings exactly you mean?

Hi

assuming putting formula on TF,so ticksize=0.1,and you'd paint bar if the distance of close from the open is greater or equal to 5 ticks

try: =ABS(O-C>=0.5).

What you mean TF?

Thank you.

Hi, I woul like to ask for help with one more condition. How will syntax look, if I would color bar in same way like before /ABS(O-C)>=TICKSIZE*x/ and second condition will be that It must be bigger than previous bar(candlestick).
Thank you.
