I remember either ThinkOrSwim or TD Ameritrade having a daily chart that almost went back to the beginning of the stock market, anyone have a .DLY file from a feed that goes back that far?

I want to analyze the patterns leading upto the crash of the great depression. Kinda curious about back then!

Well, that would only work to type out each price by hand. I am either looking for a .DLY file or a CSV I can convert to a .DLY file. I need to analyze inside Sierra Chart.

It would only take me a few minutes to whip up a script to convert the data to SierraChart format... I just need to find the raw data in text format somewhere.

That dataset only goes back to 1950... Darn!

I found a dow jones one that goes back to the 1800's though.

In thanks for helping me out, I will show you what I was analyzing. Ugh... I don't like Elliott wave counts...

I definitely prefer my own cycle analysis system... Judge each wave cycle by it's position vs the median and momentum.

Seeing as how the S&P 500 was first published in 1957, I'd say you're doing pretty well then!
