I use Velocity Futures as my broker and am currently thinking about switching over from NT to Sierra Chart. Can anyone who uses the Velocity Sierra Chart platform (not the platform directly from Sierra Chart) confirm whether or not I can connect to DTN IQFeed using one instance and the the TT trading feed using another instance. I did a chat session with Velocity and wasn't confident that I was getting a clear answer. The answer from Velocity was that I could only connect to the TT feed using the Velocity SC platform and that I would need to purchase the platform directly from Sierra Chart if I wanted to connect to multiple data feeds.
Thanks
Can you help answer these questions from other members on NexusFi?
The definitive answer is "no" to my above question, if you want to connect to multiple data services you must license directly from Sierra Chart, any broker provided license to Sierra Chart only allows connection to the broker feed. The response I received from Sierra Chart support is pasted below.
"No. You will need to have a direct account with Sierra Chart to connect to multiple Data and Trading services other than Velocity."
