I created an Excel Journal for Sierra that can accept trades exported from the Trade Activity Log. It'll give you Cum P&L, Pts Per day, Expectancy, Win%, Long v Short P&L, P&L By Entry Hour, P&L By Day of Week, Avg Win and Loss Size in Pts. I have it populated with some old Sim trades so you can see how it looks.
I cannot upload to this file from SC to save my life. I am exporting from trade log and saving as csv and trying to cut and paste in the data section of the journal. Doesnt line up or even come close to what the example is showing. I tried importing from excel from the file saved and still comes out all jumbled.
I know this is an old thread, but just seeing if anyone can give me a tip on importing trades from SC into this fine spreadsheet.
After you save the CSV file, open it in Excel, Using the Delimited option, with Tabs as the delimiter. Select columns A through U and copy/paste into cell N1 of SC_Journal.xls. To make the date/time formats match, select columns P and Q and right click >Format Cells...choose custom and then m/d/yyyy h:mm and add ":ss" to it so it looks like "m/d/yyyy h:mm:ss" then click OK.
