i have a more specific VP question in SC. i have a profile that is right aligned that dates back to last year. when i scroll back in time the VP doesnt remove the data from those bars being removed from the chart. is this possible? when does does the daily volume get plotted to this VP if using it on an RTH chart?

im not even sure im using the correct settings for a longer term profile like ive setup.

Are you saying you would like the VP to readjust the last date when you scroll back? You have it set up to start from 5/6/2015 until most recent. So you composite VP will always show those dates regardless of you scroll position.

nah i want the start date to be the same but if i scroll back in time i want to see the profile updated so that it doesnt show volume data that has already happened. basically is like scrolling forward on a day and seeing how the volume developed.

dont believe anything you hear and only half of what you see

¯\_(ツ)_/¯

I don't think that possible, you may try Visible Bars, but that wouldn't do your start date, unless it is visible.

If I read you right, you'd like to see how the VP was developing, one quick hack for this would be to leave the settings like you have it and then use Chart Replay. That way you can rewind or fast forward to whatever point you want excluding the "future" bars.

i will give that a try. im still new to SC and havnt been across all the stuff yet. what i really want is to be able to see the effect each bar(or scroll period threshold) has on the profile going forward or backward on the chart. it was just something nice to have with the GOMIMP on NT.

Don't forget to make sure that you have your Intraday Data Storage Time Unit set to 1 Tick on Data/Trade Service Settings for accurate reading.

Just wanted to take the occasion to mention the exact same GomiMP is now available for Sierra on Home - Gomicators Website.
Sorry for the advert..

Interested to check it out since the sierra built in profile indicators are very comprehensive.

Problem with sierra is that there is no way to group the settings in subsections, so the setting tab is quickly overwhelming..

A friend of mine had a look at it, he says it is way too simplistic. Maybe he is missing something. Would it be possible to publish a video showing the power of GomMPRO

Thanks
