I did as you suggested and came up with a range bar chart covering the same approximate real estate as the Renko-Flex chart and did an Overlay (non-sync) with the attached results.

Is this the most accurate I can expect? Was this the best way to do this?

Thanks
JD

Try candle stick or blank under chartsettings/graphtype

Hi,

I tried the Flex Renko but honestly the results are not so good.

There is a way to obtain nice results on Flex Renko with Sierra Chart ?

Set up S&P : 6-4-2

regards,

I like these settings on the DAX futures.
Shows reversals good.
Shows higher high or lower low good.
Not bad trend identification.

You can see the indicators are interesting also.

The same settings on Gold could have helped keep you in that big move last week.
Shows consolidation ranges well also.
