There was a post/thread a few weeks back that had a really fantastic color combination for Sierra's DOM. I never took the time to make the changes to my DOM, but wish I had - and now can't find the thread.

If any of you remember what I am talking about, please link and help me out I can't remember who posted in the thread so am having trouble finding it...

Is Sierra's DOM static, semi-static or dynamic? When I tested it was in dynamic mode but never investigated much due to its cumbersomeness.

Since Sierra's DOM is actually a "chart" and not an actual DOM does it have to comply with TT's patent?

If I become half a percent smarter each year, I'll be a genius by the time I die

It's a chart object internally with "blank" Graph Draw Type. The "DOM" becomes "static" if "Scale Range: Constant Range" with "Interactive Scale Move" selected on the scale. Not sure about the TT patent.

Every platform that has a DOM, if it wants to have the option to become static, has to pay TT a fee since they patented it. That's why almost none are static. MC for example has a semi-static option which ends up to have a dynamic performance in the end.

Since Sierra's DOM is not an actual DOM, maybe they have overcome the patent rights, offering this way a very nice tool to their clients.

uncheck Chart--> Horizontal Grid or use hot key Alt+Shift+H
