8) Do you believe Sierra Chart is competitively priced?
pricing in my opinion is a very acceptable

nothing special, it's normal, I have not noticed anyone explicit claims or to something and, maybe, all the problems are solved in a short time

* If investing gets too difficult for a seventh grader to understand, the system is needlessly complex
* Markets produce an enormous volume of information, much of which is redundant
* In every game and con there's always an opponent, and there's always a victim. The trick is to know when you're the latter, so you can become the former

Hello! I have a question about trading one click. I installed the original platform, and when you buy or sell the market pops up a window with an offer to buy or sell. Who knows how to get rid of this window?

Trade>>Attach Trade Window To Chart and then click on the M button and then Confirmations and then uncheck them all.

1) Since 2010.
2) It has nearly all useful indicators, and it provides customizable source code for them.
3) A programming language like C++ is extremely powerful and there is no limit to what you can do.
4) I use sierra for both charting and placing trades. It's awesome!
5) Discretionary/Algorithmic.
6) Piece of cake... However, I have a background in programming and web development. It's not a beginners tool!
7) Plenty good enough...
8) It's priced perfectly.
9) Pretty decent.

1) How long have you been using Sierra Chart?

6 Months

2) What are your favorite features of Sierra Chart?

Market Profile and Number Bars

3) What are some must-have deal breaker features in Sierra Chart that you could not do without?

Cost of Platform for Services like MP and Number bars or there new data feed they offer.

4) Do you use Sierra Chart in simulation mode only, or do you place live trades with it?

Sim only

5) Are you a discretionary trader or an algorithmic trader? How does Sierra Chart help you with this?

Discretionary Trader.

6) How easy/hard was it for you to learn to use Sierra Chart?

Very easy. I tryed IRT demo for says and bounced emails with support just trying to get what I wanted setup and never was able to complete it. When I tried SC I went ahead and setup a support ticket to pay them to help be get started. They were unable to do it that day but scheduled it for the next. I spent the evening playing around and was able to get everything setup as I wanted it and canceled my time with the support person.

7) How do you rate Sierra Chart's customer service/support, assuming you have needed to use it?

You can either pay for time to speak with support or you can post on the message boards. Usually if you post on the message boards you will get a response within 2 hours of posting something from SC.

8) Do you believe Sierra Chart is competitively priced?

For MP or Number bars they are by far the most cost effective solution out on the market.

9) How do you rate the community support that exists for Sierra Chart?

Others are more then happy to help on the forums so that's really nice.

I have been using Sierra Charts TA for the past two weeks.
I decided to use this for MP TPO charts.
Price was excellent versus others I have used prior.
I have used a number of platforms through my trading years. I still use some of them.

Sierra runs quick and smooth no crash's so far . I run Sierra on three computers. Some computers with two platforms running on them.

It has taken time to get use to the platform but others have a learning curve as well.
Likes:
Speed of multiple chartbooks.
Clean fresh charts.
Charts stay where I want them. I don't have to adjust like other platforms I have used.
Quick executions from charts. dome or trade window.
TPO a great price runs smooth night and day.
Numbers. and vol by price and other set up's in studies.

Version 1174 runs excellent.
