Wondering if any one has built a DTC Client( to relay Sierra Data ) based on Sierra's DTC protocol? If any can any one provide any sample code for the same?

DTC protocol now is compatible with Protocol Buffer messages. So you just need to take the .proto file and generate the code for your favorite programming language.

Personally I think DTC is a great idea, and SC should focus on expanding support, making SC a robust and high performance trading platforms for 'other' programmers.
Let's face it, after being thru Ninjatrader, MultiChart etc, SC's strength is in its solid backend as a trading platform, rathan than in the ACSIL, or its (somewhat outdated) frontend.
With increasing popularity of 'quant stype' retail traders using python,R and Matlab etc., SC + DTC can be an excellent choice as THE data/trade execution platform...
