I am looking for something that will allow the categorizing of information in excel. I don't need anything related to P/L, just the general ability to organize and sort data.

I am looking into Tableau, but it is quite pricey at $1000. Any ideas out there?

PowerPivot is free. Hook it up to a database....

Or use MATLAB...

Old thread but bump. Looking to use Power BI to highlight my closed trade metrics and curious I'm if anyone has any ideas on table structure or additional ideal data outside of an account statement from my brokerage.
