This is a test of the two screen shots.
It's possible to screen shot with just pressing the print/sys button. (Which I had been doing) But by using cntrl, alt as well, it seems to give more size.

Second shot will be the Jing thing/

Which is better for you? The Jing.

Still don't know why paint isn't pasting full size/ I'm obviously not doing something really simple.

Thanks Big Mike.

It is paint. And the print sys R button is what I have been using.
Haven't had trouble pasting before. And I have been looking for a way to 'expand' chart so no white space but, I think I am missing something.

If you click on the attachment, then once it's loaded, click again the magnifier replaces the cursor. One more click and it's full screen. Just have to remember to use back button to get back to thread.

I'll give that other one a go though. Thanks.

Phoenix.

Have you tried "Snipping Tool", it is included in windows under Accessories, after XP.

With Jing, save it as PNG then attach it -- instead of linking to it.

Instead of prt scr, hold down ALT and prt scr at the same time after you have clicked/focused on the window you want to capture. Then paste it. Paint would work with that I think.

But yes, Snippet is better if you have it (Vista+ I think), Jing is better, SnagIt better, etc. To make up for the extra trouble of using a third party tool you might find it useful to use the tools markup abilities for lines, arrows, text etc.

I've been using the markup tools in NT and then capturing the image. Never tried the markup tools in Jing. Thanks for the info.

Well, that's a bit better. The Jing worked. Couldn't find the sniping tool in accessories, actually couldn't find xp in there either. Am running Vista, and it's not a earlier version. But could be a difference between American and English versions I suppose.

Anyway the expected up move as shown last night, (in gmt terms) played out and of course it was a day when I was busy in the morning so not in front of a computer.
I don't like leaving initial pending orders in the market when I am not near a comp. Too much can happen and you have no control over it. A trade that's been running a few days? Well that's different.

That's just me though. I'm a hands on sort of guy.

So. Bitter at missing a clear trade?

No.

There will be plenty more along soon, probably some loss as well. There are plenty of 'could haves' or 'if onlys'
In anything you do.

When I did manage to get in front of the comp after most of UK session had gone and into a fair chunk of the USA session, The move up was obvious. Even more so as the chart still had my mark ups from Monday, and you could see that price had hit the top of Mondays high. (I actually took a short there on one of the real accounts at 1.62373at 17.18 and it is still in place, but it won't be part of this account so am not showing it). It is nearing Monday's low now as I type, so will have to keep an eye on that.

Anyway It is easy to spot on the chart, But it always best to get a difference perspective and next chart just shows a zoom out by one.

The simplest way to trade for good results is P.A. and a trend line. You don't even need two trend lines. One will do. And in it's simplest form. Long above and short below.

Took your advice, see attached.

Sorry, I referring to Windows XP. The snipping tool in my Windows Vista is under Accessories right after "run".
