Tried to trade yesterday. Tried. Failed. From the time I got home at 5:30, it was go-go-go with chores, baby, truck repair, wife, friend crashing at our house for a week, and dinner. I was able to at least download the data but didn't even have time to watch/practice. House finally quieted down around 11:30pm.

I think I just want to do too much...need to cool my jets.

Work, baby, wife basically. Not alot to me much beyond that. I auditioned for America's Got Talent in late January so that was sucking up ALOT of my time in getting the routine down, music chosen and edited, etc.

Yeah...I've still got the bug and yearn to trade but yearning is still a want, not a need. So right now I'm doing what I need to do. I am taking vacation next week so hopefully I'll get some time in.

I've been wondering, what markets have liquidity after-US hours? I've been thinking of Forex around 8pm or so (Central-US time zone) in relation to JPY/CNY, AUD/JPY, or AUD/CNY? Any idea? I'm not so sure on after-hours index trading as the spreads make it near-impossible. I know CL trading at 2am has liquidity...but I'm not yet about to tackle that beast.

Yea, the Aussie pairs are good for the asian market. Maybe try some swing trading small positions with a
cash / spot broker. I have had no problems with Oanda - you can trade pennies to millions. As good as it gets
for a "bucket shop" The next best would be Dukoscopy.

I enjoy trading the indexes during the London open. I just use limit orders and keep my eye on the DOM
for exits if the spreads get kooky. Price moves very deliberately and logically if a trend is in the works. Like
fish in a barrel . I like the TF during this time.

I am doing a lot of swing trading the spot currencies myself, as i just work to much to sit infront of screen
to play the shorter trades.

Oanda has a cool app for the iPhone also, to mangage trades.
