TRO I'm curious how you came up with the 20 tick rule. I'm assuming this method would work with other instruments but that 20 tick rule would need to be tweaked to suit that instrument. Also, do you use the 20 tick rule on all forex pairs or do you use a different level for different pairs based on their average day range/volatility/etc.?

Blz

By the way I pulled at 20 tick short off the 6B using this setup, thanks.

TRO,

A few questions:

1) Where are you getting the 20 pip number?
2) Does this work on any instrument? If solely based on price action, why not?

3) Comment and question: High/low is relative, what size chart you looking at? And, high/low of what? The day? Whose day? Does this method not work on stocks for example? With ES or CL, is the high of the cash open or overnight high, etc?

Gary

1) 20 pip from the HIGH/LOW of the day. I ran a frequency distribution of the daily wick sizes.

2) You have to run the statistics on the instrument you are trading to find the "sweet spot"

3) Size? Do you mean chart period? I usually use the hourly and daily for my statistics. I do not use this on stocks. I use my BUY ZONE, MILK THE COWS, and FADE THE GAP on stocks.

People wonder why I use CAPS, BIG FONTS AND COLORS...

IT IS BECAUSE WHEN I DON'T PEOPLE DON'T SEE MY POSTS.

So far today, questions that I have previously answered have been asked again.

I am so so so very sorry that I did not see that you had already answered that question. I will try so very hard to never upset you again. Please accept my apology for this utter atrocity. I hope it has not completely ruined your day.

FYI a much easier and far less arrogant response could have been:

"Blz I have already answered this on post #xxx please refer there."

And you would not even have to use bold, colors or enormous text for it to be effective.

lol - TRO - you are really too funny -
i asked in you your thread + nothing then big pictures + letters came out.
So i opend a new place + asked our members + traders - and what happened ?
You come overhere and the same story starts here again ...

i could tell you now what you said to piersh or blz in you thread ... what shall we do with you ?

If you want to make money, FOCUS ON TRADING. TRADING IS SIMPLE and that is what I am showing you. Some people are learning and making money. So the PROBLEM is NOT ME!! Try a quick look in the mirror. Aha!!

If you do not want to make money then focus on ME. We can go round and round and round and it doesn't make anyone money.

I think you want to make money. So let me be me and everyone will benefit. There is no need to challenge me. Have you seen KILL BILL 2? If you don't like how I teach, you would prefer that guy? LOL!!

Tell you what Big Mike, please move ALL OF MY POSTS from this thread into my new NEVER LOSE AGAIN!! - TheRumpledOne thread where I can post HOW I WANT. That way if someone doesn't like me, my big charts, charts with little or no explanations, big fonts, ALL CAPS, how I answer questions, etc... they know NOT to read that thread.

I will refrain from posting often in other threads.

Thanking you in advance for your cooperation.

P.S. The reason I do not annotate every chart is because I want people to SEE for themselves.

IF YOU HAVE ANY QUESTIONS FOR ME, PLEASE POST THEM IN MY NEW THREAD HERE:

https://nexusfi.com/6872-post1.html

This way I won't be rubbing anyone the wrong way IN THIS THREAD with my posts.

Accept what?

If you mention me or my methods, expect me to respond.

I do not recall saying anyone's questions are silly. That would be rude.

I am not saying that you said I said your questions are silly.

If you would restrict your comments to trading and not criticize the poster, you wouldn't be wasting time or getting your panties in a bunch.
