Got bounced quickly on the first trade, but it was obviously short at 3am my time, 9am EST.

Still have issues over runs, but getting through them.

I think you must have calm nerves trade futures. For CL, you need nerves of steel. I have seen CL move 11 ticks in one hop. There is so much action I think you must treat your 4181 as your 610. There were two mother load trades in TF today.

Well, I used to think that until I started watching Horst trade Oil a lot. I think I was actually the person who challenged him to trade that thing, but don't recall. CL and FDAX can be a bit dangerous, especially the latter...

I have been playing with it for 5 months now and like it a lot. A trend continuation pattern could work quite well also which is what most are doing on this forum.

Ok, today was just plain not good trading. I shouldn't beat myself up too badly as had I taken just a few trades I would have been very profitable, but I would have given almost all of it back.

I have 'shorts' on the brain. It was obviously long with the foot forming on the 1597 and I ignored it shorting shorting shorting. Today was an example of why I should not be live trading and I am very frustrated.

Not good trading. PERIOD.

I am a bit embarrassed by even showing this. However, at the end I was playing around and made 3 points.... On a SHORT! hahah...

I guess if you stick with it long enough you will be profitable. My wife is frustrated with her trading so she has changed from shooting for 3 point runs to taking 5 ticks and just hitting pivots. She is the most profitable she has ever been for the last 2 weeks and of course bragging about it. haha.. She is consistently +1 point roughly a day after commissions. Of course she waits all day to take 2 trades (not all day, but up to 1.5-2 hours) which I see a run go 3 points and I say what a waste. However, I am not getting those runs either as I chicken out not following the guidelines!

Tomorrow is hopefully a completely different trading day for myself. NO BIAS!!!

Video will be in next post once it gets uploaded. Seems like my upload speed is slow these days!

Ok, last two days have not been the best. I just wasn't seeing it today and felt a bit rushed as I woke up late.

The object I need to work on is PATIENCE!!!!!!

I can see the pivots. I may make a gift or two on those pivots, but I must be patient.

Trade #2 and #3 could have been avoided. They were all saying more down, but I had "LONG's" on the brain ignoring the 4181 MACD.

I took 4 trades today. I broke my magical rule!

I had to .... of course, what an excuse. It is funny, normally I would have taken that short out of the open. haha...

Actually 15 April trading, market replay

Found some good pivots, reading clearly. CL is great sometimes, other times just plain scary.

I exited my first 2 after 1.3 points or so and it is way too early. All the MACD's were saying way more up. I need to decide if I am trading for ticks or for points....

Ok, I know what my problem is:

1. Impatience
2. Laziness
3. Scarcity thinking

Impatience - I have to always be in!!!

Laziness - I don't bother actually doing what I have been taught. My brain switches off. Part of this is being tired as I traded early today.

Scarcity Thinking - I 'missed' that run! Damn... I have to get the next one.

I finally calmed down on my 6th trade today, 3rd for the CL. I was patient, calm and reading it clearly!

I was a bit early on my first entry, but I did see it going long a bit and it was a nice 5 point run at least, but I didn't stick with it as the indi's didn't seem clear and I was also reassessing my thinking for trading this morning.

I am only 'going through the motions' and not trading. This is how I lose money in live trading as well. I think, well, my account can handle this etc... Ouch.

Bluemele, I find your videos interesting. It seems that you are determined on trying to make your method work, that's great. If you don't mind can I ask you a some questions:

1. In a lot of your videos you mention a head and shoulders intrabar. Could you please explain what one looks like in your definition.

2. You also mention dual bar reversal. Could you also explain what one looks like in your definition.

3. On some of your charts you have another indicator at the bottom. May I ask what that is and what the settings are.

4. What is the main indicator that you look for to determine market direction.

Thanks
Hector
