Ok, I noticed a problem w/ my wife's MACD's today when she started trading. So, I troubleshot it and guess what... My MACD indicators were completely hosed.... Last 2 days..

Check this out...

Left = reopening today in NT7

right = what I traded...

...Looks like I was missing some data....

Remember I had the same problem and I don't even know for how long.

That just shows you that you can trade without them.

All we want to see on MACDs is a conformation of what we wanna do.

One the obvious pitfalls of using tick-based charts, especially with broker provided feeds...

Ooops, +.7!

Hmmmm. No patience today.

Plenty of good trades, but they all happened after my brain was already tired. I am good for about 30-45 minutes and the trades came later.

I was taking my trend trades in the wrong direction! haha... I was ignoring them and well, I got some small gifts. Lots of nice trades today but I didn't want to seem to find them.

Market hasn't been really moving a lot until after 10EST, so need to focus on that.

Took 7 trades, but because my stops were very small.

Hmmm. Got in a bit low, luckily stayed in and then exited tooooooooooo sooooooon. Even though the market ranged a bit anyways, but who knows it could have dropped like a rock.

I must learn to wait for my targets!

It hits my target 9 out of 10 times!!! Had I waited it would have been +2.5 for the day and a 3 point move!

The rest of the morning I cut short, but it didn't seem all that clear to me. Maybe a Friday thing, not sure.

May we check the fibs? For the opening, I show the 76 fib at 826.7. Yours was lower, I believe. (The high pivot was 828.6, and low was that day's low.) Please check and comment.

Can you send me a pic of your screen. Mine is at 4 minutes into the video and it shows my low at 820.5? What was your low at?

I could be having data issues....

Yes, the low was 820.5. The tricky part was the high, IMHO. Because new highs were being reached, you had to go back to previous high pivot of 828.6. It occurred on Thursday. With those Fib settings you had 5 nice pivots at 76 and 23 in the first hour of trading.

My screen capture process doesn't work well. Guess I need a copy of Snag-it.

Hit the 'Print Screen' button on your keyboard. Then open it up in Paint or Microsoft Picture Viewer or whatever and crop it etc.. EZ as pie. I will take a look.

@HighRise1202, yes, I see what you are saying. I had that one planted as well, but don't recall which screen (I think 440 or 1597 which isn't recorded). The fact that it went past the last high kind of changed my mind a bit, but it did go short after it broke the 76 again.

I definitely wasn't grooving with yesterday. It had some nice pivots, but really not that super duper clear to me.
