Well, today was a massively confusing day. I was thinking long, but it didn't seem to want to go there.
I have seen many days like this, but for some reason I kept going back from long to short to long again.
Had I kept my last trade at full stop, then I would have done quite nicely, but I chickened out because it was so up and down. I was exhausted too by the time I got there so I just hung it up for the day.
Or, what I really wanted it to be... It was -1.6 and I am lucky at that for the way I traded. I was up 2 points, but I decided to keep trading. Tough day for me and I just didn't have the endurance to hang out longer for the trend.
Ok, well, I guess I needed to recover a bit from yesterday. Felt great today and I have been spending a few hours daily re-running my old videos and calling short/long, long/short etc. all day. It has been great.
The power of the 4181 and the 1597 are great. I know I can choose to get a few points clear every day.
Today I got knocked out on the tick and I would have ended with about 2 points, but I guess I needed to stay in the market a bit longer and get a nice 4 point run. It would have been a much nicer run, but I didn't feel great about that prospect.
Didn't get to trade early on as I had a breakfast meeting.
Nice long at the open, was patient, but it was a bit too choppy to stay in it with too much separation on the longer terms. It was a pleasant day trading.
sure like trading the TF with back to the futures flux tool set worked well for me to day to 6 points out of the tf with the tools i got from them.

I was down as much as 11 points for my one contract. I did make a mistake in that my market replay was 2x after a while for some reason and I was getting bounced. I thought it was a little fast, but didn't notice...
Wow, what a day. I was looking for short, then I would get bounced and I would change my mind to long, get bounced...
I need to have 'special' days like this out before I go back live. I could have taken a 5 minute break but "I didn't want to miss it"....
5 tick stop was tough for today and I wasn't waiting for areas etc..
I wasn't doing trendlines, I was just watching the darn bars on the 144!!!!
Today is the most ashamed trading that I have done in a while. I need to be at least 60 days out from ever trading like this again.
I am more ashamed than you are. Just because I stopped and then started to trade again. Looking back on the charts even after news when volatility was pretty high I can see a lot of nice entries but my eyes were closed and my brain didn't work. All I had was anger and with every losing trade it was growing more and more.
Would I stay calm and concentrate I could do much better. Good thing you got all back and some on the top off it. I just knew that if I keep clicking I'll go even lower because I stopped thinking after news came out.
