Worked this morning until noon, now I am off for 2 days before I work again on Monday. Moved into a new rental so I didn't have time to look at the market until about 1 pm.

ES hit low of the day about 1:30pm @3821.50 and had a rally off those lows to the 3838 level. I suspect the sell off will continue and we could see new lows of the day this afternoon. Hope everybody is having a great day!

Trading mostly the ES. I was trading the MES but I have no discipline trading the MES because the contract value is so little and the ticks are so small. I end up just holding onto my losing trades all afternoon when trading the MES so I am going to stick to the ES. Trading the ES forces me to respect my stop loss orders and get out of losing trades quick.

Even though I trade the ES almost exclusively I still keep an eye on prices in other futures markets. I look at the ZN, CL, 6E, GC, and corn so I have an idea of how other markets are trading which I can compare the moves in other markets to the ES. I know it is bad to bring hope into the market but I hope CL moves down below the 70 handle which would ease pressure on everybody and their wallets.

GC has been quite interesting. Something about gold prices just doesn't make sense to me. I think the gold market is telling us inflation will slow down. If inflation was here to stay for years at +10% I think gold prices would be much higher right now, like +$2200. Oh well, I guess we will see.
