What resource in your time trading was most useful for learning more and putting you on the right path? As a rookie in the futures space, any guidance would be appreciated.

First, it's hard to say there is one thing that put me on the right path. It was a combination of many ideas, concepts and teaching, that allowed me to develop MY path for success. If you choose one, then you risk trying to copy them, and that will NEVER work in this industry. The market is a unique animal, and requires a unique personal approach. Yes, you must learn, and be educated from those who are profitable but then you have to find your niche, edge, style, market, instrument, software, indicator, time of day, risk, and so on...in order to truly be profitable in the long run. So, I would say start by googling these folks and study all they offer:

1- Futurestrader71.
2- JJ aka vwaptrader1, with Microefutures.com - he is a master at the futures market and Market Profile (which is amazing for futures trading!)
3- Jim Dalton. Speaking of Market Profile. study him!
4- Peter Reznicek

8- Jonathan Rose
9- DoubleWide Capital(Eric)

I found Pradeep Bonde aka Stockbee to be really helpful for trader development. His ideas on deep dives, mind clarity and self leadership really struck home with me.

What resource in your time trading was most useful for learning more and putting you on the right path? As a rookie in the futures space, any guidance would be appreciated. I will start as I am still in the cheese maze myself. I would say the most useful for me has probably been Market Wizards, it is thrown around a lot when talking about books, but hearing successful traders talking about macro and psychological aspects really helped hammer home the importance of good risk management and best practice. Which has taken me from being a losing trader to a breakeven one, which is almost somehow more frustrating. Was there ever an AHA learning moment for you?

Learning from MYSELF, the best parts of myself, listening to them, taking them seriously, and amplifying them.

I found that reliance on any external authority is of rather limited help.

My top 2 would be Adam Grimes' free trading course and the Market Rant podcasts.

Grimes course gave me a big wake-up call that while this is at least somewhat an art, you need an edge that is statistically significant to have a shot.

Market Rant (only on Youtube) is my go-to for whenever I need a reset on trader psychology. They're both CANSLIM guys but 99% of the show is psychology based and applies for whatever style you trade.
