20210309 Looking for 3880

Not gonna be able to trade the RTH for a while as we are relocating. A lot of things to do during the day time so will be ‘trading’ when I can, on iPad or phone. Price action from 8th got very choppy right before 3880. I looked for a place to enter long on 15m chart, long failed 2nd entry short with nice bull bars, for another test up of that chop area. Original stop was at the pink line, then moved up to below the swing low.

Roughly placed the trade, roughly +18.5pts.

20210310 Still looking for long

Entered after failed 2nd entry short on 15m chart. Suspected it might come down to stop people out before taking off, just like yesterday. It did indeed.

20210315 Back after driving through the dessert of Australia

Finally moved back to Sydney and be able to look at my charts. Still not gonna be able to trade the RTH so just need to get use to wait for opportunities during the slow moving Asia-pac session. Traded /MES 2 contracts with 1000 tick chart, short after failed second entry long, +7.25pts per contract.

20210316 Day before FOMC ETH

Not the best idea to trade the ETH as my short target in mind was reached in RTH. Entered 3 /MES short contract, took 2 off when it started just chopping. Stubbornly left 1 contract hoping for it to reach my target. Got taken out with market grinding higher. Luckily was out for dinner at the time. Was looking at my phone and thinking 'hmm I might short here again if I am by my computer.' Would have got taken out again. -5.75pts.

20210317 Scalpy

Traded 1 /MES right after I woke up in the morning. Was a good set up, rejection of IBL, vwap and close. +4.25pts

It chopped for a long time afterwards so did not want to trade.

20210506 SC Mania

Switching to Sierra Chart and there is so much to learn. Took me a while. A whole month of exploring and testing. Trading has been good and need to find a proper way to journal my trades. Will update here from time to time and see how I progress.

Combined Price action reading with delta analysis.
Might dive into footprint.

20210219 Friday Yesterday was not actually 32 trades, at least I don't think I have the ability to trade that fast. Must be the Ninja trader's Trade Performance counting my scale outs and partial fills and such. Today I was not gonna trade but just observe. However, I saw a really good setup premarket so I decided to trade. Figured out how to trade /MES with /ES chart after a quick bing search. 7am long - scaled out 2, stopped out 2 trailed - good (heat 2*4 contracts, +41.5) 1045 long failed 2nd entry short 5m chart- stopped out - okay (heat max, -20) 1210 flipped short after long taken out, failed 2nd entry long 5m chart - good (heat 2.25*2 contracts, +7.5) 1235 short rejection of IB - (heat 1*2contracts, +5.5) 1337 long fail break down of bull channel 2000 tick chart back to 3909 - 2 contracts, can't be bordered to think about scaling out, also trade small after the morning loss good (0 heat, +7) 1430 a lot of whips and big trades looks like big bois are out for the weekend. Time for me to stop too. It's 7am here on Saturday now. Happy that I got to spend more time with the market today. Thanks @SBtrader82 for stopping by. Hope you had a nice day! 20210518 One Month with SC

In the past month, I discovered the power of sitting on my hands lol. Less trades and more profit. Have identified a few set ups that I perform well with.

For the rest of the month, keep doing what I have been doing, be consistent. Considering joining some online "prop firms".
