I am starting this as a morning appreciation journal, not just for myself, but for everyone.
I learned from my primary spiritual teacher that appreciation is the most powerful force in existence.... it changes not just our perceptions and feelings, but the outcomes and the manifestations as well.
So please, feel free to post with me on this thread 3 things that you appreciate or are grateful for every morning before trading. They can be simple things or complex things, specific things or general things... whatever makes you feel good inside.
To get the ball rolling, here are 3 things that I appreciate / am grateful for this morning:
#1. An important personal situation got resolved very recently and I am really happy for that.
#2. The sun is SO bright outside, makes me feel so good.
#3. Petting the 2 dogs as I start my trading day feels just awesome!!!!
You are never in the wrong place... but sometimes you are in the right place looking at things in the wrong way.
I am grateful that my kids are getting along with each others.
I am grateful that I had a good lunch and dinner.
I am grateful that my gal gave me a haircut.
Nice initiative! I'm grateful for the following things in no particular order:
a) For an awesome family!
b) God has been kind to me in every aspect of my life, if you're an atheist then not to hurt your sentiments, I'd say I'm grateful for everything that has come across my way, because the ups and downs in my life has taught me many lessons, in other words the experiences have lead to what I am now.
c) For the unlimited opportunities that await for me(us) everyday I wake-up!
Another awesome day, the sun is shining (in Cancun anyway, haha), and here are 3 things that make me smile:
#1) I am surrounded by 3 wonderful people in my life right now, and I am really grateful for all of them
#2) Karen Souza!!!! I love listening to her Essentials album while trading
#3) I am ALIVE... that counts, especially since I survived Covid-19. The skin is healing more every day. I no longer look like a hyena from the Lion King. lol

Wow.... thank you for your kind words Johnny, you and your input is also much appreciated! I hope we can create more positive energy daily on FIO... feeling great really does translate into better trading decisions.

Well, I'm a bit late to the party, however, better late than never...
#1) I'm happy that I'm healthy, and my wife and my family and friends are healthy as well.
#2) I'm happy that I'm allowed to trade for a living, which for me is the best job I can imagine...and without having a boss (except my wife ).
#3) I'm looking forward to live a good and safe life together with my wife and family, and continue travelling to other countries having a good time.

I am eternally grateful to the woman who loves me.
I am equally grateful to our children, who have grown into wonderful and decent grown-ups whose work benefits their communities.
Finally, I am graced by the place I live -- Missoula, Montana -- a natural wonderland of rivers and mountains and the people who love them. My community of rock/ice climbers and whitewater boaters are the best partners a person could have as we test ourselves in the glorious outdoors.
