Hi All,

I have recently joined this forum. I am looking for help in creating a thinkscript (ThinkOrSwim Platform) for the following criteria and need help with the same. The objective is to get the list of stocks whose price has been relatively stable in the last 10 days even though there has been considerable (200k +) volume every day. If this is already existing or if anyone can help share this script, kindly do so. My apologies in case I am posting this in the wrong place.

Additional clarity on the Scan Criteria: Want to create a scan wherein I select all stocks whose last price is within the range of 2% from its high and low in the last 10 days. It would help if I can change this 10 days to be any number of days. Also the last price can be the last price for today or yesterday. For e.g. a stock has high of 100$ in the last 1 month and low of 98$ then I want this particular stock to be selected in the scan I write in the TOS platform. Please let me know if you need any additional information.

Welcome to the site and thank you for your post.

I've created a new dedicated thread for your question in our ThinkOrSwim forum here:

Someone should be around soon to help answer your question(s).

Hello Guys
I have Question on the Datafeed.
Can somebody do a Statement on the Quality of Mt5 Data with the average Bucketshop Broker overall ?
i know Market Depth is Nonsense on this One but i`d like to know how close we can get to Spot for ex. Iceberg orders.
How close is it to the Maching Engine BuyMarket = Sell Limit.
Cheers

Not really sure what you are asking in terms of, "...how close we can get to Spot for ex. Iceberg orders.
How close is it to the Maching Engine BuyMarket = Sell Limit..."??

What data/Instruments are you looking at? If it's spot forex, that market is OTC (Over the counter) and as such, you will be hard pressed to find any meaningful volume or limit data simply because there is no centralized exchange. Any attempt at order flow analysis on spot FX is going to be difficult.

As the spot FX market is OTC, add together the fact that you spoke of bucketshop brokers, you can expect all sorts of shenanigans especially during volatile or illiquid periods. This will also apply to all products which are not traded over a centralised exchange.

In general, you need to see if the broker is an 'A book' or 'B Book broker'. If a 'B book', God have mercy on your soul.

I know AMP Futures offers MT5 as a trading platform where you need to pay relevant exchange fees etc so all data from such sources is as good as it would be for anyone else. Of course, it depends on your pc and internet set-up but if data is from a established exchange and your technology is up to scratch, you shouldn't have issues with quality of data.

Question: What should my timeframe be for my TPO chart if I'm trading MES during normal hours?

The Volume profile is unaffected by the evening if I limit the TPO to 830-1600 they are practically in sync. For instance this last week. With the TPO set to cover a 24hr trading period, night hours form their own low volume bell curve that I feel like skews the whole day. Any input would be appreciated, Thanks!

In addition, I would invite you to take a look at a very recent TPO discussion that is taking place as a result of a recent webinar. You might want to watch the webinar(s) [there is one now, another is scheduled] from Trevor Harnett and ask your question again in the Tradovate AMA thread. Tradovate is sponsoring this series of webinars, which is why it is in their thread.

I'd like to make sure I'm posting my trading journal correctly in FIO for the Feb trading journal challenge. I have posted a PDF file of a sample journal within that thread. The PDF was created in a Google Sheet and shared as a PDF to my message yesterday. Can someone tell me should I be creating a URL differently within the IO website?

And why here nobody can share some bookmap indicator. I know that bookmap`s indicator their are developed in Java language.
