FastStone image viewer and FastStone Capture The best

I have used Snagit for almost 20 years, and buy a license (upgrade) every couple of versions. It includes screen recording, which is pretty robust for most purposes. Snagit is a product from Techsmith.

I also have a license for Camtasia, which is also a Techsmith product. It is probably too much tool for simple screen recording, but has extremely robust editing features for creating and publishing videos. I use this a lot outside of trading for developing training materials.

I use both products because the workflows are so quick and easy. All of the screenshots I use in my journal are from Snagit and Snagit Editor (included with the Snagit license).

Totally worth the price in time savings. No free tool comes close, IMHO.
