Just one quick scalp over lunch today in the CL. I have also added one (long) micro lots in MES, MYM, and MNQ. These are swing trades with wide targets/stops. I am also still holding one stock trade. My Ags are good and I have added one additional micro wheat lot.
Here are my FX position so far:
I am up $45 on my closed trades today with low stress/draw.
I was able to work some out of the house today and took some day trades, two on ES and on CL. They were both a combination of VSA and news ( news moved it my direction to target after entry). I took exit a bit early on both, but could not cancel my target ( that were set based on daily goal) fast enough after the news break.
All my swing trades are doing well. Most are still at a loss, but I think they will go my way soon.

Good day with no mistakes and/or stress. My day trades were very fast and did not take hardly any heat.
I am up $258 on my closed trades.
I dabble in Forex, but it seems to be very noisy. Do you ever trade the Micro Currency Futures? I’ve been looking at M6E, but it appears to trade thin.
Plus, my methods rely on volume. Have you found that volume spread analysis interprets well to the Forex Market?

I have been trading for 10+ years and finally doing okay with futures/stocks. I am still struggling with FX. I have never been able to make money with Forex consistently. But VSA is now seems to be working. The key is ( for now at least) to trade it using the daily charts and a weekly filter. I also think that I must keep an eye on fundamentals when trading Forex. So, for now Forex daily and some fundamentals. Lets keep our fingers crossed and we can revisit this post in six months .
And yes the M6E is liquid enough for the daily charts. I can also trade 5am to 1pm CST with no issues at all.
If you need to trade for a 5-20 ticks, then I would go with 6E.
I Did good today with my goal on closed trades reached. CL and my indices, Ags micros are starting to move my way again. I doubt I will get any exits tomorrow, but next week looks good. All my trades today were breaking news trades.
Here is an update on my FX positions. I have added targets on all as seen below.
It was an easy day with few quick trades. No stress or draw and I am up $212 for the day.
Another day that I was able to day trade and it was a good day for it. At the open, I closed out my two open stock positions for a scratch and I was able to take two news trades, one CL and other ES. Both were taken around the same time. I was almost out of my three micro indices position since it was close to my max swing stop loss of $750ish. But the market found a bottom to keep me in long. I also wanted to add to my CL call and placed another limit buy at 12 cents ( $120), but I was not filled. I am still bullish on both my swing positions.
A good day, with no stress/draw. No mistakes and I was patient waiting on news/set up today. My news trades did not take any heat and got me into profits within a minute. I am up $314 today on my closed trades.
