a large order on the bid is hitting the bid therefore a sell order or is it limit buy order.

It is both: Sell Market order hits a Buy Limit order.

Which I would mark as red.

Hi

I have just joined this site and looking forward to benefiting myself and others. I have been trading Fx fo a while and have decided to move to Futures several months back. I trade ES mainly using MP and OrderFlow. One thing that helped me in FX was a small study group of 3-4 like minded traders on Telegram interacting throughout the day.

If you have been trading for 1-2 years using Market Profile and Order Flow and would consoder forming a small study group please get in touch.

Here is a Chartbook with DOM, that might help you get started.

Dude, that was a badass chart layout. I have to take that all apart now to see what all you have in there! LOL I love that DOM setup, you should do a post on how you set that all up. What did you use as a resource for learning that and setting it all up? I've watched a crap ton of Infinity Brokers videos (Patrick and crew are awesome) and learned a lot, but I haven't seen anything like this (yet).

how did you manage to add the Initial Balance and the Period OHLC-Variable Period to the DOM?

I don't see them available in the Studies Available column

Do you happen to know if it's possible to get Sierra Charts to show the queue position on the DOM similar to Jigsaw? See vid (location linked) below.

Enjoying your chart...man, a lot to go through! :-)

Thanks!

In the video I linked when the presenter placed a Limit Order on the DOM it would show where he was in the fill queue. So, for example if he was number 150 out of 200 he could estimate when he might get filled.

That is just a guess by JS... it assumes if there are 150 and you place your 1 lot it will be 151... but if somebody hits bid at 150 and it could be 1 trade.... worthless shit information... the key to trading is to be in a trade.
