Not only you have to take commissions, slippage and curve fit into consideration, You have to add potential stupid operator mistake as well. I turned system on today. Thinking Monday was yesterday.
Was not going to. Made a mistake. Thought Monday was Tuesday. How? I only get Mondays off. Due to July 4th, I had Sunday off. So I thought after 1 day off, it must be Tuesday. Anyways, completely my fault.
While it does not have a huge impact in over all performance if I was to turn the system on or off holidays. But as I want to grow and add more contracts if market allow me, those holidays with thin market will more likely produce slippage in real trading. So I have decided not to trade on those days.
Win or loss, I should have turned it on. And yeah. It sucks trade turned out to be a loss. 🤣
Power outage was one of concerns in beginning of system trading and I dealt with it with a laptop and back up internet connection ready(jet pack). Power went out in my home and restaurant last week. There was a ton of stuff for me to do. I just did not have capacity to turn the system on last Thursday and Friday. In result, I missed two profitable trades. Much needed in this equity draw down period.
Will be back with monthly update next week. account is at 23,780. 1 stop out will result in reducing number of contracts to 3 from 4.

Missed two profitable trades during power outage. Equity curve keep going down. roughly, started 18k in 2020 to 33k then down to 23k. Reduced contracts to 3 from 4.
