what caused this many trades in september? it seems like it 4 to 5 times more trades than usual? is it because hourly trend was mostly down during september?

11month of being happy non smoker! 2 month left for 1 year mark!!

If I have time later I will share more thoughts but in short, at least my in my case, trading system's results are not matching historic performances. In fact, they perform poorly. It has happened on first strategy and happening to the second strategy. From May 2020 to now, market is up about 65%. My system is up 25%. While it was never designed to match market performances, I am not please to see how bad it has underperformed compare to market. But I am curious to see how it is going to do when the market is flattening or declining. But for now, I will continue with my system.

I am pulling the plug on system. Two simple reasons.
1. Max drawdown is bigger than back tested result.
2. After more than 160 round trips, the real time trading results does not match average back tested result.(It has happened to my first system as well.)
I really wanted this system to work out but I had to face the fact and act on it rather than do nothing and hope for better results to come. It would be a dream come true to make it as a trader but at this time, I must devote my energy and time to other business ideas to profit from. One of the reason why I traded was to make profit. And it is extremely hard for me to make consistent profit with measurable risk by trading futures.

Sold the business. No clear direction for future has been made yet. So I have been reading as many book as possible.
