I'm tired of XStudy.

I do a lot of market profile and volume profile along with charting custom spreads.

I'm looking into Sierra Chart at the moment.

Any recommendations?

It works with TT alright? Any sort of historical data errors?

XStudy has just been a colossal piece of excrement for me.

No issues
Of course depends on provide
Am using AMp and they dont offer spread data etc which sucks.
Have tried CQG as well but reason i stick to it i trade through xtrader and want the same feed
of course i now pay multiple CME fees since its 2 accounts - 1 for sierra and 1 for CQG

Would appreciate you keep me posted on progress and let me know too if there is a simpler solution

Sierra you can customize a lot but initially may feel not as great out of the box but u can make it do most anything

Send me a private message if u want to know more

Hello

Sierra is more oriented analysis (with full customizable settings) and X_TRADER is top for trade to the DOM.
Graphically, Xstudy is pretty basic, but it offers the necessary ... as VAP, WVAP ...

I trade with X_trader and I posted the videos on my youtube channel.

Sierra Chart with TTnet via AMP with me based in NZ. Never any issues with the feed - or SC for that matter.

Hi,
In X_trader, the market profile is well developed (TPO, value transition ...)

I use to use NT but I didnt like the DOM as much as X Trader during volatile markets. As a result, I went back to X Trader because I felt it was very reliable with zero latency issues. As far as X stsudy, for the basics I think it is just fine. It is very simple, but again extremely reliable and not as buggy as other platforms. I just feel very comfortable when the market goes nuts and the ES has 50 point ranges to stay with X trader and as a result to not complicate the situation amd stay with X study.

However, I do understand the limited capabilities of X Study and I have been exploring other charting options such as Multicharts with TT feed. I am running into the same issue of how it will work with the TT feed. I would be interested to hear how your experience with Sierra charts works out. Hope it goes well.

I agree "X_TRADER" is mainly for the DOM. For the chart, it's the minimum but still effective.

Sierra is much more oriented graphical analysis and customizable at will.
After using the 2 platforms, I prefer xtrader and I'm comfortable with.

I posted videos on my YT channel where I trade with Xtrade and bookmap.
