My wife called from work. While we were talking price action NOT only did not confirm a long setup on the ES but I missed the perfect entry for a short as the downtrend continued. Bummed - I would have been done trading the Combine for the day and could have gone to my live account.

Took a quick scalp on ES with triple divergence. 2 contracts stopped out at 2 points. Turned around and did the trade again with 2 contracts for 2 points. Basically down commissions.

Missed another great setup on ES as I was talking to the Doctor. This one would have been 4 contracts for 3 points on ES. This is the one I was waiting for.

Perfect setup! Quick scalp for +11 ticks on 2 contracts. I will look for the larger targets once I have a Higher Low in place.

The higher low has been established. Put entry in place and it missed filling by 1 tick. First target would have been 46.78. (+25) Second target at 47.06 (+49). That is trading!

Price after moving all the way to 46.74 did retreat to my entry point but I didn't take it. I prefer 1st test. Downtrend may resume have to watch and see.

Looking great so far

Sideways congestion on CL. Not sure if I will make any more trades today. May just take the money and run. I have reached my initial Combine goal for the day. However, I need to recalculate to see what I now need after the other day's loss.

It should be a nice breakout move on CL which ever direction it goes. Look for about 50 ticks either way based on the congestion zone. And all I need is a little piece of that. Either a target of 47.20 if it breaks up or 45.67 if it breaks down.

ES is also poised for a breakout trade.
