Hello @joketrader! I asked one of my clearing firms who offer Rithmic and they in turn asked Rithmic directly. Rithmic answered that yes you can place those trades as long as they are listed at the exchange.

I use CQG Integrated client and you can place flys, doubleflys or other combination of calendar spreads on that platform but I think you already know that.

Hope this helps.

The RTrader manual explains how to input Stop Limit orders, but when trying to follow the manual by opening "order defaults" on my DOM I do not have the box section for "Stops" so cant go any further to do a Stop Limit Order.

Its likely I'm missing the obvious but thanks for any advice if theres some setting I need to amend ?

Cheers

I think you need to add a stop column and click there. Optimus futures community has a few posts for Rtrader that covers this

To add "stop-limit" to your DOM, you just have to right-click any header of any column, thereafter click add/remove columns and you can check "S/L"

I hope you don't want to use "stop-limit" as stop-order

Thanks. I'm looking to use it for entry :-)

I've got the SL column added but when I click/open the "order defaults" tab my grey box is different to the one shown in the R RTrader rmanual. I'm still missing the "Stops" section (as per my previous pics). Clicking in the SL column either above/below current price doesnt do anything or open an "order window" either.

(Incidentally looking further back in the thread a previous post (post 23) also shows the difference in the "order default" box not showing the "stops" option, although that poster was looking to use Stop Market orders which was rectified by clicking in the SM column.)

Oh well, I'll keep looking & clicking to see if I can sort it out :-)

Cheers

I've tried it out for you (though I don't like this order and don't know why someone will use it) and it works without problems.

If I click "order defaults", I also don't see this "stops" option, so I guess Rithmic has deleted it. As you can see, the manual is from 2011, so I guess, they have made a lot of changes since

Cheers

Stop Limit Order FIXED:

ok, here's how I managed to fix it. On my DOM "Right Click" on price ladder & tick "Show Classic Order View" (I usually have that unchecked which also gives slightly different options in "add/remove columns").

When in the "Show Classic Order View" mode & clicking in the SL column an order ticket is produced. When ""Show Classic Order View" is unchecked, clicking in the SL column did not create an order ticket.

Hello,
Never worked with R Trader/Pro, but heard a lot of positive feedback.
Here is my question:
does R Trader/Pro has some tools similar to Ninjatrader Market replay?
Interested in algo trading.

Thank you.
