Hi All,

Today was a stuck in the mud go no where fast day.
After getting beat up by myself on Friday I realized that a sever throttling back in trading was in order.
I started today with the vow of only one contract at a time.

Today turned into a one tick day as I just was not seeing it.
my first trade entry was at a good area and there were only three challenges to the entry position. I exited with one tick profit after the first real challenge thinking the next pop was going to hit my stop. I have seen many days like this with a lightly traded market where the ES has some unpredictable moves and I didn't want to be on the receiving end.

Forgot to video journal my trade as well... OOPS. Well that said my journal is attached and Monday is history.

Best wishes to all.

From.

p.s. Plus found out over the weekend about the time limit for revising these posts. Guess I better be sure all is in order before hitting the send key. Oh and my video only does *.WMV files at the moment, but I will look for a free converter program soon.

Neither. I would say 99% of people will not open either.

Screenshots should never be PDF's. They should be PNG or JPG, and preferably embedded into the post and not as attachments so it is easier/faster to view.

Hi All,

Today non-trading day. Not enough rest in evening woke up tired.
At least I had good sense not to trade.

Journal attached.

Best wishes to all.

Hi All,

An off day that is for certain.

Oh I didn't do any videos, and lost money.
Wonder if there is a direct correlation.

Best wishes to all,

Hi All,

Another light trading day for me.
I am still working to find my groove.
One thing that is nice is that I stumbled on a webinar that really explained a quick and accurate way to draw trend lines. I am finding these to be dead on even on two min time frame.
Short version of the webinar: Use LINE on CLOSE chart. Draw trendlines off triple touch from tops and bottoms. I have found that using rays works well and fast too.

Journal of my day and two trades for the day attached.

Best wishes to all for a great week.

Hi All,

I was asked for the link to this webinar, and wouldn't you know I didn't have it on this computer I will be sure to check my other computer's history as I think I remember seeing it in the last few weeks. I have seen so many trendline videos over the years. This one just uses a simple line on close and the peaks. I am attaching a few charts to show what I am talking about. By the way the ES chart that I am attaching is actually more in a CHOP mode than trending, but attaching charts to show how trend lines could be drawn.

We all draw them differently, but I have found this to work best for me (for now that is)

Will look for the link.

p.s. Also finding that Ninja Trader (NT7) has a ton of information both in their 999 plus page manual that can be downloaded for the program but through online sources as well. Big Mike this site of yours has also been a great source of information and source material for NT7.
